In memory of George Ocheme, a cherished member of the Abuja International Choir, who passed away on Sunday 8th December 2024.
George performed with us at our just concluded Christmas Concert last Saturday. He was responsible for putting together the wonderful African pieces Noyaemwen and Kpakpando, as well as the instruments and the individuals who played the pieces exceptionally well.
Though he may be gone, his melody and light will remain forever in our choir and in our hearts.
